- Parking a Boat in Coral GablesJuly 9, 2012

A common misconception is that Coral Gables does not allow the parking of boats and/or boat trailers on residential property. According to Section 4-413 of the Coral Gables Zoning Code, boats and boat trailers may be placed, kept or maintained or permitted to be placed, kept or maintained in any interior side or rear yard only. Parking surfaces for the placement of boats and boat trailers may be improved or unimproved. So as long as your boat and/or trailer is parked behind the front elevation of your house you may store it on any surface you have available whether it be grass, dirt, gravel or pavement.
